Modern architecture with family oriented functionality

Tyler Owens Architects, Maria Fenlon Interiors

Merging two visions has it’s challenges. One our team tackled head on and delivered beyond expectations.

It required us to balance sophisticated visual presentation with deep functionality—delivering gallery-quality display conditions alongside comfort, wellness, and family connection.

The solution unfolded in clean architectural lines softened by layered textures, warm palettes, and carefully curated materials. A family cinema, home gym, and wellness area were designed as immersive, mood-sensitive spaces. Acoustic performance, lighting control, and material tactility were carefully considered to enhance comfort and usability across all ages. Throughout, the interior palette was chosen to unify these varied spaces while still expressing individual character.

The result is a seamless fusion of curated sophistication and family-centred living—a home where beauty, function, and wellbeing coexist naturally. We are delighted to have this project short-listed for both the IDI 2025 awards & Fit Out Awards 2025.
